“I would like to share with you an outsider’s view of the heart of Randy. Although we are very close, I still hold an objective and impartial view of this incredible artist.
His love of photography started at a very young age and his passion has only grown over time. He has captured the world’s beauty through a camera lens since 1967. His creativity and technical prowess has been recognized by his peers, earning the Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman Degrees and other art and photographic industry awards.
First and foremost, he is my best friend. We have been married since 1977 and plan to be until the end of time. He has a heart of gold – always looking for the best in others and bestowing words of encouragement and praise. The heart of Randy strives to have all people reconciled with each other.
His art reflects this healing balm. His whole ambition is to share God’s goodness and splendor and through his art, to invoke the feeling of peace and well being in each observer. I might possibly compare it to a beautiful symphony, that as you listen, it brings to mind warm memories and images (“warm fuzzies”, if you will) that you are just itching to share with others so they can feel the same warmth that you do.
Having Randy’s art hung in our home has brought peace and tranquility to an otherwise chaotic life (we all have a bit of that). The ambiance that the art (and the heart) of Randy Hufford creates will make you feel that peace as well.”

This art was originally created for a good friend of mine (Leon) to celebrate a healing in his body. Everyday for 3 months Leon walked barefoot and swam at this beautiful beach on Maui called Kamaole 3 Beach Park. He actually was practicing the healing power of “Grounding” or “Earthing”. (Click here to read Dr. Mercola’s article about grounding.) Leon’s health was restored and he celebrated by commissioning me to create this piece of art to remember his healing. The miracle of the story is that one day, when Leon returned home from the beach his expensive gold ring had fallen off his finger. The next day his son went to the beach with him and as his son was swimming he found the ring.
